Summary: The staff provides excellent service and the resort is impeccably clean, including the beach. Much thanks to Daniel and Felix who work in the pool grill areas for service with a smile. The food itself, however, it poor quality. Almost all of the food is comparable to a school cafeteria or hospital with some fresh fruit added in. While the breakfast and lunch were standard buffet fare, the quality of the dinner buffets were terrible and located in a non-airconditioned area (the Topaz restaurant) which doesn't have windows and is very hot. The Teppenyaki restaurant had good quality food but very difficult to get reservations there, even though it appeared mostly empty most night when we were there. We ended up going out to dinner to local restaurants a few nights just to avoid the buffet.
