Summary: A few minutes walk to the HSR Taipei Station and a few min more to the Taipei Main train station. We stayed in a windowless double room. It was small but clean. The water pressure for the shower was amazing. The stairs have unusual heights which may not be to code for US standards but just be careful going down if you use them. Little touches make all the difference - they store luggage before check-in and after check-out. The room has some small snacks. Laundry is free (although we did not use it). The small kitchen has Asian cookie rolls and a good espresso/coffee and ice tea machine. No breakfast is provided but you can get breakfast on the street or on the station. Good value and great location. I would definitely stay here again.
