Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: If you want to feel like you're living inside a Chinese landscape painting, this is it. The mountains are right there, the river is steps away, and the hotel's own meadow with four deer and a white horse brings nature to your door. I had coffee on the grass every morning, afternoon tea after a swim, and the complimentary shuttle took me into town in minutes. The butler team treats you like family. I didn't want to step outside the gate.
