Let me welcomely introduce you to my homestay in Hanoi. I have lived in Hanoi for 20 years and 6 years in America. The moment I found this French colonial villa, I knew it would fit perfectly for a homestay to get away. You would find some of the hallmarks of industrial home design include exposed or painted brick walls, metal and wood shelving. The French colonial villa is located right in downtown Hanoi, features views to Nguyen Thai Hoc Street known as painting street of Hanoi.
The space
Our location is about 80m2, located in the center of Hanoi where the streets are few hundred years old, so the villa. The extremely convenient location on the first floor will give you the convenience of moving, together this space can accommodate a larger group of people while maintaining privacy. The street where dozen of artists work, live here and hold gallery, in which you can find all kind of oil painting picture, canvas, fine art in just minutes of walking. That is how I get the name for this homestay – The ARTIST.
Moreover, the French colonial building and interior furniture may bring you back in time to the growth of industrialisation and mechanisation that began with the industrial revolution in the mid 18th century.
- You will be provided with Self Check system. The place is on the 1st floor, in a very quiet neighborhood.
- It can comfortably accommodate 4 adults but can be up to 5 if using the sofa.
- A queen size bed with comfortable mattress. Also, a full size comfortable mattress is on the loft.
- A Smart 40 inches with a good speaker system brings you nice moment for films.
- A bluetooth speaker is available for your use to relax and listen to music at night.
- The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea and kitchen appliances to allow for home cooked meals with dishes, plates, knives, forks…
- A balcony with see-through-glasses celling and sweet lights are for your relax station after a long day.

+ 10 mins drive to Old quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake.
Guest access: best by car, taxi. It will take approximately 30-40 mins to the place from airport. Also, for your convenience, we do have airport pick up for $20 USD (one way).
Other things to note:
- Pets are not allowed
- Smoking allows ONLY at balcony.
- Please respect our neighbors.
- The voltage in Vietnam is 220V in every socket. So if you need to use 110V equipments, let me know and I will give you a mini adapter changing from 220V to 110V.
- The pass-code will be sent to you 1 day before your arrival, right after you send us your passport’s photo.
- Early check-in and late check-out can be possible upon the room availability.
- We’d appreciate you letting us know this request in advance so we can prepare your stay accordingly.
