Positive: It was a nice quiet location. Comfortable and clean, with a very good shower. Strong wifi.

Negative: Check in is advertised as 3 pm to 6 pm. We arrived at 2:30 pm and there was no one at the property. At 3:10 I called the posted telephone number, no answer. Then I emailed the owner through bookings, and the response was first, you can move in, with no explanation how that’s going to happen. The second response was I will be there shortly, again no time was given. I ended up cycling to there second business Hello Buffet in town to find out where the owner is. His son said he is at the property, which he wasn’t. His son took me back to the home stay and his father arrived 5 minutes before me, at 16:15! I find this to be unacceptable.

Summary: The fact that we couldn’t get into our room one hour and 15 minutes past the check in time left the bad taste for this h
