Positive: Beautiful guesthouse right on the river. The property is ran by two ladies who are lovely - very helpful and supportive. It is about 5 minutes walk to the old town part of Luoyang. Rooms were nice and big and comfortable and airy. The best thing is the support from the ladies, who although they have little English (use a translation app) make it feel very safe and welcoming (Nb there are not many foreigners in Luoyang)

Negative: Nothing, it was all good. The area immediately around the guesthouse is currently vacant (empty restaurants), but you are literally 5 minutes walk to the interesting old part of town. There is not much of a metro in Luoyang so be prepared to use taxis (which the owners can help book)

Summary: Beautiful guesthouse ran by super helpful owners, great base to explore Luoyang
